Dragon Gate Academy is seeking San Francisco Board of Education approval for a Mandarin Immersion charter school dedicated to delivering a seamless K-8 experience, through an academically exceptional program with bilingual proficiency.
Our mission is to foster cultural understanding, academic excellence, and inclusivity for all learners.
We need hundreds of parent and teacher signatures to make this vision a reality—help us secure the charter in time for the 26-27 school year
Empowering Families and Communities
A tuition-free K-8 Mandarin Immersion school like Dragon Gate Academy will open doors for families across San Francisco who are priced out of private options or unable to secure spots in SFUSD’s limited MI programs. It will impact students by providing access to bilingual education that prepares them for global opportunities, while empowering parents with an affordable, high-quality choice that fosters cultural pride and academic excellence. This initiative will also strengthen the city’s diverse communities by ensuring equitable access to language immersion for all, creating a more inclusive future for San Francisco.
