Throughout the K-8 journey at Dragon Gate Academy, our Music curriculum evolves to cultivate students’ musical abilities and creative potential through a thoughtfully structured approach. In the early years, students explore foundational elements like rhythm, pitch, and tempo through singing, movement, and simple instrument play, sparking their curiosity and love for music. As they progress to the upper grades, they engage in more complex activities, such as composing their own songs, analyzing musical structures, and performing in ensembles, which deepen their technical skills and foster teamwork, preparing them to appreciate and contribute to the world of music with confidence and artistry.
